My 75 Hard Experience - Pt. 1 (what it is, what it’s not and why you might try it too)
I really honestly felt like I couldn't move forward with this (blog/podcast) without talking about this! It was so recent and something that was so transformative for me…my 75 hard experience.
I have a lot to say with this so that why’s it is going to be split into two parts, but the episode below is me talking about what 75 Hard is, what it's not, why I decided to do it and why maybe you would want to attempt it as well. The next go-around will really be focusing on some of the concrete outcomes that I did see from doing the challenge, things that I I actually screwed it up and why I’m happy I did! As someone who was super active pre pandemic, and stayed pretty active during quarantine, I had reached a point where I was losing steam. I wasn’t making time for the things that I wanted to and loved to do. 75 Hard truly kick started that for me again.
If you’re more of a reader rather than a listener, be on the lookout for the formal blog post that will be live this Friday! But here are some of the links I reference in the podcast…
#75Hard - The Tactical Guide to Winning the War with Yourself - Andy Frisella podcast episode where he talks about the details of the challenge
Message to Myself (Jan 3, 2021) - YouTube Video The video I recorded of myself giving a little pep talk before 75Hard
I Lost 18 Lbs of Fat in 2 Months - YouTube Video by HopeScope (so I was totally off on my numbers here…ignore that in the podcast!)
DISCLAIMER: Did 2020 seem to mess up everybody’s sense of time? Because it sure did for me! I keep thinking we’re still in 2020…SO to clarify. I FOUND HopeScope’s video in January 2020, not 2019 as I mentioned. Then I BEGAN the challenge in 2021. For some reason my brain keeps thinking I started this in 2020 (as if any of us want to relive that year…) so my apologies for any confusion there!
